Today I want to chat about Kombucha. Which is obviously utterly unrelated to those Banana Oatmeal Cookies, however I know you won't mind.
Let me start by stating that my husband drinks apple cider vinegar mixed with warm water every morning to decrease inflammation or something like this.
He claims it is magical. I claim it's nasty.
While I understand this is going to seem spectacular (cause it is), I literally dry heave in the sight and smell of the early ritual to a daily basis. He loves that about me.
Depending upon this response, an individual would feel I would stay far away from Kombucha, directly? I suggest, after all, it definitely comes with a vinegary tang.
But for some reason, I continue trying it. I want to enjoy it SO DANG BAD.

I like these cookies somewhat on the back side side, so that I bake them for 9 or 10 minutes. If you prefer these to be cooked through, I'd take for 10-11 minutes.

BANANA OATMEAL COOKIES
1/2 cup unsalted butterat room temperature
1 large egg
1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 tsp ground cinnamon
3 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Scrape the sides of the bowl and mix in the egg until fully incorporated. Scrape the sides of the bowl and add the mashed bananas and vanilla.
In a medium bowlwhisk together the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Gradually add the bread mixture to the banana mixture and mix until just blended.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl and stir to recombine.
Stir in the oats and chocolate chips and mix until incorporated.
Use a moderate cookie scoop (about 1.5 tbsp ) to scoop the dough onto prepared cookie sheets leaving about two inches between each cookie.
Bake in preheated oven for about 9-11 minutes.
Remove cookies from the oven and then gently press on the tops of each cookie using the bottom of a drinking glass. Because these cookies don't spread much, this can give them a traditional cookie form.
